RFID stands for “Radio-Frequency Identification” in Italian- and indicates an automatic recognition technology system. Thanks to this chip on the GATE eCharge card, all you need to do is to bring the card close to the plate on the charging station -on which the appropriate symbol is drawn- to activate the station and proceed to charging.
On the IVECO ON portal, it is possible to view each charging station with details of prices per kWh and service charges.
No, but you can add a complete charging solution with a charging station, maintenance software, and charging card to your plan, and pay for it monthly along with the rental payment.
It is possible to install both charging solutions called "quick" with alternate current (AC) and charging solutions called "fast" with direct current. Our GATE consultants will provide you with the best solutions according to the customer's needs.
The choice on the number of charging stations and their type (AC or DC), depends on multiple factors such as: the hours available for the driver to charge the vehicle, the battery power of the vehicle, the number of miles driven during the day.
The owner is manager of the charging station so they will be able to decide who to give access to the station to.
Yes, thanks to the software that comes with the charging station, you can observe its consumption and usage over time; you can also turn the station on or off as needed.
Among the services offered by GATE, in addition to the sale of the charging stations, there is the possibility to take advantage of the installation service by our certified Partners. Following an inspection, an estimate of installation work will be provided.
If you are interested in purchasing a charging station and installing it at your company, GATE will be happy to offer advice and provide you with a cost quotation following a visit to the installation site by one of our certified Partner.
The price of energy will depend on the supply contract already in place.

It is possible to initiate charging using the GATE eCharge card equipped with an RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) device, which enables immediate activation of the charging station by just swiping the card over the recognition sensor.
Charging can be terminated at any time, even if the vehicle battery is not 100% charged. To stop charging, unlock the station by passing GATE eCharge card on the RFID sensor provided. If you are charging with AC (alternating current), it is a good idea to pull the cable out of the charging station first and only then out of the vehicle. On the other hand, if you are charging on DC (direct current) after stopping charging you can pull the cable out of the vehicle.
The charging time of a vehicle is variable as it depends on several factors including the specific characteristics of the vehicle, the battery with which it is equipped (whose capacity is expressed in kWh), and the power of the charging point.
Yes it is possible, the vehicle will only absorb the power it is capable of absorbing. We recommend that you consult your vehicle's owner's manual to find out its technical characteristics.
The charging time of an electric vehicle depends on multiple factors such as the kW output of the charging station socket, the maximum power accepted by the vehicle's on-board charger, the type of cable used, and, of course, the capacity of the on-board storage system and the vehicle's charge level. Also, keep in mind that the charging rate decreases as the battery reaches 100%. It is possible to estimate an approximate charging time by dividing the battery capacity by the charging power.
A map of all the charging points belonging to the GATE network can be viewed on the IVECO ON portal.
IVECO ON is the IVECO portal for digital services, provides a simplified and aggregated view of vehicles and fleets. It also allows monitoring of vehicle performance and status.
GATE offers rental contracts with a term of at least 3 years, with a minimum annual mileage estimated by the customer.
The pay-per-use formula is a proprietary calculation formula that GATE uses to define the rental fee, including the related services, and which takes into account a number of variable parameters, including: the estimated kilometres and those actually travelled by the customer, the Base Mileage Rate and any additional rates (in the event of excess mileage and/or non-travelled kilometres), the duration of the contract, the services selected, and the characteristics of the vehicle.
Yes, according to the type of offer you choose! Only the energy will be paid extra based on actual consumption (the price of energy recharge will depend on market conditions and the energy supplier's offer).
Under current legislation, the payment of the ownership tax is the responsibility of the customer. Currently, for electric vehicles, there is an exemption from the payment of ownership tax, with rules varying from region to region. In any case, GATE's services also include the administration of the payment of the ownership tax on behalf of the customer. If you need more information, please write to info@gatemobility.com.
Each municipality has its own regulations in this regard, please inquire on the website of the municipality where the vehicle will be circulating and if required to have a specific badge to circulate in restricted areas.
