Rates and payment

GATE offers rental contracts with a duration of at least 3 years, with a minimum annual mileage estimated by the customer.

The pay-per-use formula is a proprietary calculation formula that GATE uses to define the rental fee, including the related services, and which takes into account a number of variable parameters, including: the estimated kilometres and those actually travelled by the customer, the Base Mileage Rate and any additional rates (in the event of excess mileage and/or non-travelled kilometres), the duration of the contract, the services selected, and the characteristics of the vehicle.

Yes, according to the plan chosen, except for the energy for charging, which will be invoiced separately, according to market conditions and the energy supplier's offer.

Under current legislation, the payment of the ownership tax is the responsibility of the customer. Currently, for electric vehicles, there is an exemption from the payment of ownership tax, with rules varying from region to region. In any case, GATE's services also include the administration of the payment of the ownership tax on behalf of the customer. If you need more information, please write to info@gatemobility.com.

Yes, by contacting your dealer or sending an e-mail to info@gatemobility.com you can request to update your package at any time.

RFID stands for 'Radio-Frequency Identification' and indicates an automatic recognition technology system. Thanks to the chip on the recharging card supplied by GATE, you only need to bring it close to the plate on the charging station - where the appropriate symbol is drawn - to activate the station and recharge your vehicle.

On the IVECO ON portal & APP, it is possible to view each charging point with details of prices per kWh and service costs.

No, but you can add a complete solution with a charging station, maintenance, software and charging card to your plan and pay for it monthly, along with the rental installment.

Public charging

A map of all the charging points belonging to the GATE network can be viewed on the IVECO ON portal & APP.

It is possible to start a charge session using the GATE card equipped with an RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) device that allows immediate activation of the charging point by simply passing the card over the recognition sensor.

Charge session can be terminated at any time, even if the vehicle battery is not 100% charged. To stop charging, unlock the station by swiping the GATE card over the RFID sensor. If you are charging with AC (alternating current) it is a good practice to first remove the cable from the charging point and only afterwards from the vehicle. If, on the other hand, you are charging with DC (direct current), you can pull the cable out of the vehicle after stopping charging.

The charging time of a vehicle is variable as it depends on several factors including the specific characteristics of the vehicle, the battery with which it is equipped (whose capacity is expressed in kWh), and the power of the charging point.

Yes it is possible, the vehicle will only absorb the amount of power it is capable of absorbing. We advise you to consult the user manual of your vehicle to find out its technical characteristics.

The charging time of an electric car depends on many factors, such as the power availability in kW of the charging station, the maximum power accepted by the vehicle's (on-board charger), the type of cable used and, of course, the vehicle's battery capacity (kWh). It should also be borne in mind that the charging rate decreases as the battery reaches 100% level. It is possible to estimate an approximate charging time by dividing the battery capacity by the charging power.

Private charging

It is possible to install both alternating current (AC) 'quick' charging solutions and direct current (DC) 'fast' charging points. Our GATE consultants will provide the best solutions according to customer requirements.

The choice of the number of charging points and their type (AC or DC) depends on many factors, such as the hours available to the driver to charge the vehicle, the battery capacity of the vehicles, the number of kilometres driven during the day, thus the daily charging need.

The owner is the controller of the charging station, so he can decide to whom he grants access to the charging point.

Yes, thanks to the software supplied with the charging station it is possible to observe the energy consumption and usage over time; it is also possible to switch the station on or off as required.

Among the services offered by GATE, in addition to the sale of charging station, there is the possibility of an installation service by our certified partners. Following an on-site inspection, a quotation for the installation work will be provided.

If you are interested in purchasing a charging station and installing it at your company, GATE will be happy to offer advice and provide you with a cost quotation following a visit to the installation site by one of our certified Partner.

The price of energy will depend on the supply contract already in place.
